Click for information about our 2020 Winter Reading Program, and to register online.

Whether you’re a parent, teacher, day-care provider, education student or (most of all) a kid, we can connect you with resources that will help build in kids a lifelong love of reading and exploration. We have a superb collection of books, magazines, audiobooks, CDs, and DVDs, as well as staff who know those resources well and can recommend titles for even the most reluctant reader.

And our resources extend to the digital world, with children’s e-books, audiobooks, and movies, as well as online services to help school-aged children with homework, reports, and even individual tutoring.

Plus the children’s section is a great place to hang out! There are of course great books and magazines to browse, but you’ll also find toys that encourage creativity and social interaction as well as special events and programs that inspire and educate.
