Preschool Art Workshop: Bubbles & Blooms

Join us for these guided art workshops for preschoolers (ages 3-5), presented by staff from the Decatur Area Arts Council. Each will focus on learning special techniques for creating your own art that you can take home from the program. Each is scheduled for 45 minutes, with 15 minutes extra for those who want a bit more time to work on their creations.

We will use bubble paint to blow bubbles, print bubbles, and make bubble blooms. These make great Mother's Day cards!

Children's books related to this include Pop! A Book about Bubbles by Kimberly Brubaker Bradley, and Bubbles Float, Bubbles Pop by Mark Weakland.

Plan to wear "paint clothes" -- clothes you don't mind getting a little messy. All programs will be in upstairs in the Children's Auditorium.
