Exercise your child's self-expression, critical thinking, creativity and team work.
READiculous, JR is a reader’s theater/creative dramatics program led by READiculous’ Susan Bishop and Alissa Henkel. READiculous, JR promotes self-expression, critical thinking, creativity and team work through exercises. The program includes theater games, improvisation exercises, characterization techniques, literary interpretation and more!
Participants
READiculous, JR is for 10-14 year olds.
Upcoming Classes
Two sessions will be offered this spring:
Class 1: Tuesdays, 4 - 5 p.m., March 17 - April 21
Class 2: Wednesdays, 4 - 5 p.m., March 18 - April 22
Please be sure you can attend all six classes before registering. Each student will receive a READiculous, JR t-shirt, thanks to the Friends of the Decatur Public Library!
How to Join
Class size is limited. If you are between 10 and 14 years old and can participate in all six classes, you can sign up by visiting or calling the Children's Desk upstairs at the Decatur Public Library (217-424-2900 ext. 5).
