Fans of Children's Literature Book Discussion Group

Adults read and discuss outstanding Children's books

What: Fans of Children's Literature Book Group
Who: Adults 18+
When: 4th Thursday of August, September, and October at 6 PM
Where: Children's Auditorium, Decatur Public Library

Attention adults who enjoy reading Children’s Literature: we have a new book discussion group for you this year!

Children’s Literature is broad in scope and, like Adult Literature, can be lighthearted at times; other books are quite profound and meaningful, the words staying with the reader and affecting their lives long after the story is over. Let’s delve into a variety of genres and have a rousing discussion about these impactful works.

Click date to register for each session individually. Read or listen to the book before the meeting, and then join us to discuss and explore. (You do not have to attend every session to participate.)

Schedule (click to request a copy of the book in the library catalog, print or audiobook if available):

This program is sponsored by the Friends of the Decatur Public Library!

Discussions will be led by DPL Librarian, Amanda Young.
