I love to crochet and also dabble a bit with painting.
Decatur is my home town and I grew up using the Decatur Public Library. After living in California for a few years after college, I came back to Illinois to go to library school. I have worked at DPL twice; the first time as a reference librarian, and now as head of Technical Services. Tech Services as it is called, comprises the acquisition, cataloging, and processing of new materials. The best part about working in a library (besides it being full of books!) is providing for the informational needs of the public.
