Getting an E-Card

Decatur residents who do not have a Decatur Public Library card and would like access to the e-resources collection ONLY may apply for an eCard. This card allows access to the Library’s Kanopy, Hoopla, BiblioBoard and more.

Register for an eCard

Register for an eCard and receive a library barcode and PIN within 24 business hours by email to begin accessing the eBook collection.

Please note that in order for your application to go through successfully, you may be asked to allow the form to track your current location. When prompted with a message such as "go.decaturlibrary.org wants to track your physical location," you must click on "allow once."

In order for your application to be successfully completed, your address must be verified. In 1-5 days you will receive a followup postcard to verify your address. If the postcard is returned to us for any reason the card will be suspended.
