School-Age Art Workshop: Birds in Winter

Join us for these guided art workshops for elementary-school kids, ages 6-12, presented by staff from the Decatur Area Arts Council. Each will focus on learning special techniques for creating your own art that you can take home from the program. (The themes are the same as the preschool art workshops, but more in-depth and detailed.)

Birds in Winter! We will create winter bird scenes with paint and paper inspired by the work of artist Charlie Harper.

Plan to wear "paint clothes" -- clothes you don't mind getting a little messy. All programs will be upstairs in the Children's Auditorium. Workshop is 75 minutes in length (since the library will close at 5:30 for Lincoln's birthday that day).
