Students in the 5th-8th grades, join us for this special edition of "Conversations with Kabedi & Kaream" -- Thursday, February 4 at 4 p.m.

We'll be reading the graphic novel Class Act by Jerry Craft prior to the event, and for our book discussion we'll be joined by the author himself via Zoom! Jerry will talk about his journey to becoming a published author and illustrator, and the creative process behind his books. Afterwards he will take questions from the participants.

His graphic novel, New Kid, is the first graphic novel to win the prestigious Newbery and Coretta Scott King Medals from the American Library Association.

Advance registration is required to receive the Zoom link.

Participants in central Illinois can also receive a free copy of the book Class Act (one per household).
