Preschool Art Workshop: Patchwork Elephants!

Join us for these guided art workshops for preschoolers (ages 3-5), presented by staff from the Decatur Area Arts Council. Each will focus on learning special techniques for creating your own art that you can take home from the program. Each is scheduled for 45 minutes, with 15 minutes extra for those who want a bit more time to work on their creations.

We will focus on drawing our own elephants and then adding a fun patchwork of colors using bleeding tissue paper.

This art project is inspired by the Elmer the Elephant picture books by David McKee, which you can find at the Decatur Public Library.

Plan to wear "paint clothes" -- clothes you don't mind getting a little messy. All programs will be in upstairs in the Children's Auditorium.
