September 11th, 2001: The Day That Changed the World

This year marks the 20th Anniversary of the world altering events of Tuesday, September 11th, 2001. In remembrance, the National September 11 Memorial & Museum and the American Library Association brought together history, stories and images to honor and remember those there that day and impact on the world.

"This educational exhibition recounts the events of September 11, 2001, through the personal stories of those who witnessed and survived the attacks. Told across 14 posters, this exhibition includes archival photographs and images of artifacts from the Museum’s permanent collection." - the National September 11 Memorial & Museum

The exhibit will be on display through Saturday, October 2nd, on the library's main floor. Additionally, you can find resources from the National September 11 Memorial & Museum here: https://www.911memorial.org/learn/resources. We have also curated a display of books and films from our collection detailing the day and affects years after the event.
