HEADS UP! Are you an adult who has always wanted to see the story-acting duo? Here is the perfect opportunity. READiculous will be performing for a Millikin’s Children’s Literature class on Thursday, February 5, at 9:30 am in the Children’s Department. The public is welcome. In fact, the more the merrier!

READiculous, the Decatur Public Library’s story-acting duo , had an amazing end to 2014, and start to 2015!  Tuesday, December 30, was a day of celebration.  Thrive Entertainment Magazine published their January edition featuring READiculous on the cover and inside story! The magazine distribution couldn’t have come at a better time.  That evening READiculous performed their 100th show in the Children’s Department.  Over 140 children and adults enjoyed watching past show favorites as well as four never-before-seen books come to life! Of the new books performed, two were from the popular beginning reader series “Elephant & Piggie” by Mo Willems, for which READiculous has become known.   On New Year’s Eve, the Library enjoyed a nice Herald & Review article and pictures recapping the night’s performance and audience reaction.  New Year’s Day brought the unexpected response on twitter from Mo Willem’s himself and a “thanks” for including his books! Decatur Public Library wishes everyone a READiculous-ly Happy 2015!
